We are happy to announce our Digiquest Summer Camp Schedule for the summer of 2013! Digiquest is a series of Summer camps for students to explore television and filmmaking! In week-long sessions, students work with peers from Atherton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Palo Alto and beyond. Together they create TV shows, videos, and animations! This summer, we've got camps for all ages!
All camps run Monday-Friday from 9:30-3:30, and are instructed by talented and fun industry professionals!
Advanced Animation & Special Effects
Students use industry standard animation software to create 3D animations and special effects for movies! Students use green screen technology to make actors interact with digital elements on screen and compile multiple effects into finished movies.
Session 1: Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26
Session 2: Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2
Note: It is recommended students in this course have previous experience with video editing software.
TV Studio Production
Students learn all the skills they need to produce, direct, and star in their own TV shows in our professional studio. From concept to completed show, students design sets, run cameras, sound, graphics, and star bringing their big ideas to the big screen!
Session 1: Monday, June 17 – Friday, June 21
Session 2: Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28
Session 3: Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12
Session 4: Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19
Advanced TV Studio
Students build on previous TV experience to produce a meaningful show about a social issue affecting the community. Working in teams, students produce news packages to roll-in, creating a professional polished 30-minute show with guests and interviews. Great for students passionate about journalism and social change.
Session 1: Monday, August 5 – Friday, August 9
Note: It's recommended students have previous studio experience before entering this class.
