Search for Space Aliens with Facebook Live

Ever look up into the infinite night sky and wonder if there’s life on other planets? SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute is constantly monitoring space to answer that question. The Mountain View based organization hosts scientist led talks on astrobiology as part of its public outreach.

Midpen Media Center Pro Services broadcasts SETI’s monthly public lectures live. Using Sling Studio, Pro Services seamlessly switches between presenter and slideshow for broadcast over Facebook Live. “I/‘Oumuamua, The First known Interstellar Visitor” presented by Meg Schwamb from the Gemini Observatory broadcast on January 23, 2018 hit 25K views, 849 likes, 471 comments and 271 shares.
