
50 Objects / Stories of the American Japanese Incarceration – has launched its gripping web site this week – with the story of Gene Sogioka. Gene was a former Disney artist who documented what he saw at Poston between 1942 and 1943. He created 134 outstanding, often provocative, watercolor works that were uncensored and depicted life behind barbed wire.
