In December, Midpen Media launched its annual GivingTuesday campaign; this year’s theme was #IAMaProducer. The campaign highlighted what makes our media center special: over 100 producers with diverse backgrounds, experiences, interests, and a shared goal to engage in meaningful dialogue that crosses cultural, political, educational, and religious divides. We appreciate that our producers, no matter how different from one another, have a collective desire to carry out our organization’s mission of informing, inspiring, and empowering others to speak and act on behalf of their communities.
Something else that makes our organization undeniably special: our supporters. Thanks to our generous Midpen Media family of donors, we were able to exceed our GivingTuesday goal of $10K by 20%, raising a total of $12,120 to underwrite innovative camps, scholarship opportunities, workshops, and trainings for youth and adults in 2020!
