Asia Dubarenka
TV Studio Manager/Education/CHVO

Prior to discovering Midpen Media Center Asia was practicing film photography as a hobby, and was working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

After helping her friend cover a videography shift for UNAFF in 2015, Asia took several classes in video production with Midpen, and started on a slippery slope of studio production volunteering. That led to winning the top volunteer title twice for co-producing, directing and crewing more than 200 shows, and she joined the staff team as a City Hall Video Operator in 2017. Her responsibilities expanded to Field Productions and Studio Tech in 2021. Asia has worked on several creative feature productions since, and have fulfilled instructor role for the School Break Camps. After taking on management of PeerSpace studio production requests, Asia was offered a role of a Studio Manager in 2023.

Mary Byler
Business and Operations Manager

Mary worked at Hewlett-Packard Company for 35 years and held a variety of positions from Master
Schedule to Senior Quality Consultant to Marketing Services Director. She found her niche as a
Program/Project Manager within the HP Software Division and went on to manage numerous
collaborative Business and IT systems initiatives. Her first Encore Fellowship was at Family Giving Tree to implement a new version of the Salesforce Non-Profit Starter Pack to track donors and their donations.

She then spent another year at the Santa Clara Library Friends and Families Foundation installing
another new customer relationship management system. She is currently working as Business and Operations Manager with Midpen Media Center focusing on operational support and
infrastructure improvements.

Kevin Burnett
City Hall Video Operator/Streaming Specialist/Programming/Website Updates

After working in tech for 15 years, Kevin started in public access television in 2011 by taking the Media Center’s studio class.  After taking the studio class, he started volunteering in various roles for studio productions.  In 2016, he was hired as part-time staff, primarily to be a City Hall Video Operator, covering government meetings for the cities of Palo Alto and East Palo Alto. He also works as a meeting crew member for CreaTV in San Jose, covering Santa Clara County and the city of San Jose.

In his spare time, Kevin likes to watch movies, read and take pictures with his camera.

Javier Jimenez Jr
Equipment Manager/City Hall Video Operator/Social Media Manager/Production Specialist

Javier Jimenez Jr is originally from Michigan, where he got his bachelor’s in Film and Video from Western Michigan University. He started off as a volunteer with Midpen in 2019, hired on as a Studio Tech on 2021. He now servers as the Social Media Manager, a City Hall Video Operator, and Studio Tech.

Patrick Campisi
City Hall Video Operator

Patrick has been a City Hall Video Operator at the Media Center since 2008.  He also volunteers in the studio as a camera operator.
