This class is taught in 12 weekly Tuesday sessions, beginning on January 5 and ending on March 23.

Have you ever dreamed of making a great movie? Midpen is the perfect place to start or continue your filmmaking journey!

Over our 12-week after school program, students will learn specific skills necessary to make their own movie, including writing, directing, lighting, cinematography, editing, and more! Our talented instructor, an award-winning filmmaker, will work with students’ specific needs and interests each week through engaging exercises, fun challenges, and informative lessons. Going more in-depth than our summer or spring break camps, these sessions are designed for the passionate student who is looking to grow their skills in the art of movie-making. No experience, however, is necessary. Students are not required to bring in their own projects to discuss for feedback, but they are encouraged to do so, if they have them!
