Hardware, software, and production values are covered by experienced instructors in a relaxed environment. NEW DIGITAL TRENDS PHOTO ENHANCEMENT

Beginning Digital Photography (DSLR & Smartphones) (February 11, 18 & 25)

This hands-on class is for novice (and somewhat-experienced) photographers who want to capture life’s fleeting memories and tell a story with their photographs. Students will learn how to add that special touch to their photos that will make family and friends say “Wow!” Students will learn what it takes to shoot like the pros and how to process their digital images on the computer to get the best possible composition, quality, and impact. Finally, using consumer or professional printing services, framing and matting, posting to the web, or producing beautiful self-published photo books. Class location: Midpen Media Center, 900 San Antonio Rd, Palo Alto.

Class includes 3 months of classroom computer access.

For this particular workshop, please register through the City of Menlo Park Activity Guide at the link below. You do not have to be a resident of Menlo Park. The Media Center’s workshops will all take place at the Midpen Media Center in Palo Alto.
