History has its eyes on us! Your documentation of the coronavirus national emergency will be a crucial resource for future societies that will benefit from the experience we have today.
Midpen Media is offering an affordable course in documenting these unpredictable moments of the coronavirus pandemic. With 8+ hours of coaching and support on a schedule that works for you, Midpen Media instructors will work with students in a small online workshop setting to plan, produce, and complete a documentary film about the rapid changes that the coronavirus has brought to our world.
Students will be trained in conducting and recording interviews from a safe distance, obtaining emotionally evocative video of their personal experience, and assembling video and audio with video editing software of the students’ choosing. Everything is changing. Some things may never be the same. Don’t miss this opportunity to capture our world’s transformation and make it into something of your own.
No documentary-making experience necessary, but students MUST have access to a smartphone with a functional camera and microphone.
