FIELD PRODUCTION AND EDITING STUDIO PRODUCTION

Sound Recording for Film (October 26)

Sound is one half of a video production – the often overlooked half. Audio is at least as important as video, if not more so, yet high-quality video is often accompanied by poor-sounding audio. Want to know what goes into creating a professional-sounding audio track? In this 4-hour workshop, we’ll cover the basics of sound and sound processing so that your videos sound as good as they look. Examples will be shown using Audacity and Adobe Audition. Topics covered include basic sound theory, noise reduction, dialog editing, processing (compression, equalization and reverb), sound effects and mixing. (Ages 18+)
