Part II of our TV Crew Member Training Program: Join us for a hands-on session to learn how to make your TV production sound as good as it looks!
Many videographers make the mistake of crossing their fingers and hoping for the best when they go out to shoot, only to run into basic problems which can ruin an otherwise great video project. Don’t settle for poor audio quality any longer! Our expert instructor has years of experience teaching audio to pros and beginners alike, helping countless creators achieve professional quality sound in their productions. Our instructor will cover microphone use, picking up audio from various sources, and how to avoid common audio mistakes like noise, echoes, and clipping, as well as how to use the soundboard in our control room. Then, students will learn how to operate the teleprompter system to assist hosts and guests on productions with their lines. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn how TV studios get lines to their talent and record their voices in optimal quality!
Completion of this workshop certifies members of the public to volunteer as Audio Technicians and Teleprompter Operators on Community Productions at the Midpen Media Center Professional TV Studio.
