SUMMARY:Film Production Camp: 3-7 August
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever dreamed of becoming a great filmmaker? \nStart your journey at Midpen\, where you will learn from our expert instructor all of the basics of all aspects of making a movie. In our one week camp\, students will be given a foundational understanding of film vocabulary and theory before they embark on their own filmmaking journey and script\, shoot\, and edit a project of their creation using professional equipment and methods. Students will be guided through the whole process\, and will be given opportunities to try the major roles on a movie production\, including writer\, director\, camera operator\, and editor. \nAt the end of the week\, we will hold a screening for friends and family where all of our students’ movies will be shown. In the past\, some of these short films have even been selected to screen at film festivals across the nation! Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity to start your cinematic journey! \n\n\nCancellation Policy: No refund will be given for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the camp session’s start date.  Cancellations between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the camp session’s start date will result in a 50% refund.  Cancellations made earlier than 4 weeks prior to the camp’s start date will result in an 85% refund.
