The third annual MC Studio Session Christmas Celebration 2018 featured musical performances by the EPACenter Arts youth choir and jazz band and the Potential Jazz Ensemble. Starting off the hour-long music session, the six-member youth choir backed by jazz band sang the hopeful “Seasons of Love,” and melancholic “Autumn Leaves.” Next up the EPACenter Arts Jazz Band played a bluesy rendition of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” featuring musician solos. Potential Jazz Ensemble moved into their set with a smooth version of “The Christmas Song.” The ensemble plays traditional and popular Christmas carols with twinkling chimes, soaring saxophone, and crisp guitar strumming.
