Meet Our Summer Youth Interns

We are excited to welcome six new interns who will be learning television production and media industry skills at Midpen Media this summer. They will assist staff during our summer camps, helping to teach filmmaking and studio production to middle school youth. Other activities will include marketing and administrative opportunities. Here is a little bit about our talented summer crew:

ROMEL – Age 17

A 2019 graduate from Los Altos High, Romel loves basketball and skating. He will be attending Foothill College next year and is considering video or theatre production as a career path. He enjoys working with his hands, and would someday like to flip houses. 


ISHAAN – Age 16

Ishaan will be entering 11th grade at Homestead High School. He plays basketball and wrestles for Homestead High. His other hobbies include photography and digital media, and he hopes to work in media. 


LOLA – Age 17

Lola will be a senior at Gunn High School next year. Her passions include diving, which she does at both her school and Stanford University, and playing the piano. She plans on majoring in journalism in college.


MAX – Age 15

Max is a rising sophomore at Gunn High. He enjoys playing basketball, running track and playing or listening to music. He feels his strengths are in editing, but enjoys the entire process of video production.


SANJAY – Age 17

A rising senior at Kehillah School, Sanjay loves playing basketball and football. He describes himself as a funny guy who likes theater improv. He currently hosts a YouTube show called RagiReviews, in which he reviews food in the Bay Area. 


Samantha is a Gunn High Graduate, class of 2019, who will be attending St. Mary’s College in Moraga this fall. She is interested in Media Studies and plans to major in Communications. She likes swimming, playing video games and writing.
