Midpen Media wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to outgoing board members Joanne Reed and Beth Charlesworth, who stepped down in late March and early April, respectively. These amazing women showed a passion for community media and the importance of providing a safe and open environment for people to share their cultures, beliefs, and interests with a diverse audience spanning Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, East Palo Alto, and Stanford.
Both served as board officers for the organization, Beth Charlesworth, most recently as Treasurer. “Beth has been incredibly generous this past year,” states Keri Stokstad, Executive Director/CEO. “We were very fortunate to have such extraordinary leaders in our community lend their expertise and valuable time that will have a lasting impact on the organization. As much as I’ll miss them, I look forward to having them stay involved in our community in the years to come.”
Joanne Reed said her goodbyes to the board after serving the organization for 14 years. “Joanne brought her many talents to bear in service of the organization’s growth, particularly in marketing, branding, and strategic planning by serving on several key committees over the years,” adds Stokstad.
Midpen Media has benefited enormously from the contributions of these outstanding board members, and we are grateful for their leadership and support.
