Out and About in the Community at Onetta Harris and Facebook

Midpen Media is increasing its visibility in the communities we serve by participating in local events like Facebook’s Bands on the Bayfront festival and the recent community fair at the Onetta Harris Community Center.

We took the production truck out to meet music lovers at Facebook HQ on September 21st. Children visiting our booth had fun making and decorating masks and they were excited about the prospect of being on TV after seeing our mobile cameras. Former “West Coast Songwriters” host Josh Friedman performed with his band Purple Fox & The Heebie Jeebies at the children’s stage.

Midpen Media was one of a dozen exhibitors at the Onetta Harris Community Center’s Community Fair on Thursday, September 12th. About 100 people came out to learn about local non-profits and activities available to them at the Community Center. They enjoyed dance performances ranging from young ballerinas, modern dancers, Zumba fans to an amazing troupe of indigenous dancers in full feathered regalia.

“This was an excellent opportunity for us to share what we do at Midpen Media with the Belle Haven community of Menlo Park served by the Onetta Harris Community Center,” said Joanne Sperans, Marketing Programs Manager at Midpen Media. “We look forward to partnering with the team at the Onetta Harris Community Center to work on more projects to benefit their constituents.”
