Approval of Consent Calendar

A. Approval of Minutes for the June 3, 2025, Regular Board Meeting. It is recommended the Board approve the minutes for the June 3, 2025, Regular Board Meeting.

B. B oard of Education Committee and Program Assignments for 2025-26. It is recommended the Board approve the committee and program assignments for 2025-26.

C. Board of Education School Assignments for 2025-26. It is recommended the Board approve the school assignments for 2025-26.

D. Certificated Personnel Items. It is recommended the Board approve the certificated personnel items as presented.

E. Classified Personnel Items. It is recommended the Board approve the classified personnel items as presented.

F. Summer School Short-Term Personnel Items. It is recommended the Board approve the certificated and classified summer school short-term personnel items as presented.

I. Approval of the PAUSD Budget for 2025-26: Resolution No. 2024-25.19 Year End Budget Transfer Authorization 2024-25; Resolution No. 2024-25.20 Budget Transfer of Funds for the Fiscal Year 2025-26; and Resolution No. 2024-25.21 Interfund Borrowing Fiscal Year 2025-26. It is recommended the Board approve: 1) Adopt the 2025-26 Budget as presented, 2) Approve Resolution No. 2024-25.19: Year End Budget Transfer Authority 2024-25, 3) Approve Resolution No. 2024-25.20: Budget Transfer of Funds for the Fiscal Year 2025-26, and 4) Approve Resolution No. 2024-25.21: Interfund Borrowing for 2025-26.

J. The PAUSD Promise for 2025-26. It is recommended the Board approve the Promise priority area goals for 2025-26.

K. Resolution No. 2024-25.22 for Authorizing Signatures. It is recommended the Board approve Resolution No. 2024-25.22 for Authorizing Signatures.

L. Approval of May Warrants and Purchase Orders. It is recommended the Board approve the May warrants and purchase orders as presented.

M. Sale or Disposal of Surplus of Various Items. It is recommended the Board: 1) Declare the items as surplus to future operations of the District, and 2) Direct the surplus items to be sold by auction, donation, or disposal.

N. Approval of Strong Schools Bond Change Orders. It is recommended the Board approve the attached list of Strong Schools Bond change orders as listed.

O. Authorization to Purchase Extron Equipment for the Hoover Elementary School Project. It is recommended the Board: 1) Utilize California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) contracts with RGB Systems Inc. to purchase Extron Equipment for $194,036, and 2) Authorize the Superintendent or his designee to issue Change Orders in an amount not to exceed $19,404.

P. Authorization to Purchase Playground Equipment and Installation for the Hoover Elementary School Project. It is recommended the Board: 1) Utilize Sourcewell contracts with Spec Play to purchase accessible playground equipment and installation in the amount of $1,268,923, and 2) Authorize the Superintendent or his designee to issue Change Orders in an amount not to exceed $126,892.

Q. Authorization to Award a Contract for Parking Lot Improvements for Palo Alto High School. It is recommended the Board: 1) Authorize staff to award a contract to JP Paving for $758,827, 2) Authorize the Superintendent or his designee to approve change orders in an amount not to exceed 10% of the contract, or $75,883, and 3) Approve the project budget of $900,000.

R. Authorization to Award a Contract for the Field Replacement at Palo Verde Elementary School. It is recommended the Board: 1) Authorize staff to award a contract to McGuire & Hester for $175,000, 2) Authorize the Superintendent or his designee to approve change orders in an amount not to exceed 10% of the contract, or $17,500, and 3) Approve the project budget in the amount of $245,000.

S. Approval of Addendum for Construction Management Services to Cumming Group for Greene Middle School Roof Replacement Project. It is recommended the Board authorize staff to issue an Addendum for Construction Management Services to Cumming Group for $55,140.

T. Authorization to Issue Addendum 23 to LPA Architects to Provide Additional Services for the Gunn and Palo Alto High Schools Softball Field Projects. It is recommended the Board approve Addendum 23 to LPA Architects for $55,400.
