Action / Discussion / Information Items

A. 2014-15 Parcel Tax Fiscal Report

Staff will provide a report about Measure A on revenue and expenditures. This is an information item only, and no action is required.

 

 

B. Citizens’ Oversight Committee Annual Report on the Strong Schools Bond for 2014-15

The Citizen’s Oversight Committee is required by State laws to review the program and issue an annual report to the public on the proper expenditures of taxpayers’ money. Chairperson, James Cowie will present the report and make comments on the report to the Board.

 

 

C. Annual Strong Schools Bond Financial and Performance Audits for 2014-15

State Law requires annual financial and performance audits on the Strong Schools Bond. Christy White, Professional Accountancy Corporation will make a presentation at the meeting.

 

 

D. Emac Elementary

The Board will have a discussion with the Elementary Subcommittee on scenarios for managing enrollment growth in both the short term and long term.

 

 

E. Emac Secondary

The Board will discuss presented and possibly new scenarios with the members of the Subcommittee.

 

 

H. First Reading of New and Revised Board Policies and Administrative Regulation(s)-BP 5157, AR 5157, BP 5145.7, and BP 6151

The BPRC has reviewed the policies and administrative regulations and is presenting them for Board discussion with action to be taken in December.

 

 

F. First Interim Budget

The Board will discuss providing a positive certification to the County Superintendent that the District can meet its financial obligations through the end of the fiscal year and for the subsequent two years; and approving the budget revisions listed in the projected year totals.
