It is recommended the Board approve all items of the Consent Calendar as presented or amended.

B. Certificated Personnel Items:

It is recommended the Board approve the certificated personnel items as presented.

C. Classified Personnel Items:

It is recommended the Board approve the classified personnel items as presented.

 

 

Action / Discussion / Information Items

A. Legal Contract for Goldfarb and Lipman in an Amount Not to Exceed $20,000:

It is recommended the Board waive the two-meeting rule and authorize staff to enter into a contract with Goldfarb and Lipman in an amount not to exceed $20,000 for legal services for 2018-19.

 

 

B. Preliminary Draft Response to the Recirculated Portions of the Santa Clara County Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Stanford 2018 GUP:

It is recommended the Board waive the two-meeting rule and review and comment on the Preliminary Draft Response to the Recirculated Portions of the Santa Clara County Draft EIR for the Stanford 2018 GUP.

 

 

C.  Resolution No. 2018-19.01 Resolution to Designate Specified Position as Senior Management of the Classified Service:

It is recommended the Board waive the two-meeting rule and approve Resolution No. 2018-19.01.

 

 

D. Authorization to Purchase Palo Alto Networks Firewall:

It is recommended the Board waive the two-meeting rule and authorize the expenditure of $298,000 for the replacement of the District’s existing network firewall.

 

 

E.  Authorization to Award Contracts to William Scotsman to Lease Two Daycare Portables at Addison Elementary School:

It is recommended the Board waive the two-meeting rule and award lease agreements to Williams Scotsman in the total amount of $143,201 for two daycare portable buildings at Addison Elementary School.
