Action Items

A. Authorization to Purchase Elementary School Desks. It is recommended the Board: 1) Waive the two-meeting rule, and 2) Authorize staff to purchase 2,000 elementary school desks from Campbell Keller in the amount of $554,989.

 

 

B. Grant Funded Electric School Bus Purchase. It is recommended the Board: 1) Waive the two-meeting rule, and 2) Authorize staff to accept a grant of $800,000 from the Carl Moyer Grant Program to purchase two 78-passenger electric school buses and the associated infrastructure.

 

 

C. Region 20 Run-Off Election for 2021 California School Boards Association (CSBA) Delegate Assembly Election. It is recommended the Board vote for two (2) candidates on the run-off ballot for election to the Delegate Assembly.

A. Recommendations Regarding Elementary School Bond Projects. It is recommended the Board: 1) Authorize staff to move forward with the Hoover Elementary School project, 2) Authorize staff to move forward with the El Carmelo Elementary School project, and 3) Direct staff to pause the design of the Walter Hays Elementary School project.
