On October 1st at 7:00 pm, Midpen Media hosted a candidate forum organized by Palo Alto Neighborhoods (PAN) for an opportunity to get to know the ten candidates running for City Council. Concerned about policing, traffic, housing, development, and more? Here’s your chance to hear how each candidate approaches the issues. The event will be moderated by former City Council Member Hillary Freeman.

“For many years PAN has hired Midpen Media to record and broadcast the council candidate forums we’ve hosted at City Hall. With COVID and suddenly having to host a virtual event, we realized it would be better to have trained staff run the technical aspects so that we could focus on the content.  It has been a delight working with the knowledgeable and accommodating staff. We are a small 100% volunteer-run civic organization, so taking advantage of the non-profit discount plus being able to work with people with whom we have a track record is an easy choice. Plus supporting an important community organization is in alignment with our goals and values,” said Sheri Furman, Co-Chair, Palo Alto Neighborhoods.

The virtual meeting will be broadcast on Comcast cable TV Channel 28 and will also stream live.
