Public Hearing

4. Resolution to Adopt Palo Alto Complete Streets Policy: The Complete Streets Resolution and accompanying policy reiterate Palo Alto’s commitment to multimodal transportation options for its residents and offer strategies to achieve heightened prioritization of integrated street design. The policies benefit both public health and the quality of life for Palo Alto residents as well as the commuters moving throughout the City on a daily basis. Finally, the adoption of this resolution and its accompanying Complete Streets policy aims to satisfy the goals assigned to the City by AB 1358 and SB 375. The adoption of this resolution and policy is an important step in the City’s continuing pursuit of regional and state planning and transportation grants. 5. Review and Recommendation for Proposed Bryant Street Bicycle Boulevard Extension: The Bryant Street Bicycle Boulevard Extension project is a recommended priority project in the Palo Alto Bicycle & Pedestrian Transportation Plan 2012. This project aims to extend the Bryant Street Bicycle Boulevard from East Meadow Drive to the city’s southern limits near San Antonio Road and Nita Avenue. This project includes traffic calming measures, such as bulb outs, chicanes, and raised information, contact Sarah Syed at sarah.syed@cityofpaloalto.org

 

 

3. 1050 Page Mill Road (14PLN-00074): Request for Planning and Transportation Commission (PTC) Review of a Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) Regarding a Request by 1050 Page Mill Road Property LLC for Architectural Review to Allow Demolition of Two Existing Structures Totaling 265,895 sf and for Construction of Four Two-story Office Buildings Totaling 265,895 Square Feet of Floor Area with Below and At-grade Parking and Other Site Improvements. A Separate Hearing on Project Design was Held by the Architectural Review Board on July 30, 2015. Zoning District: Research Park (RP). Environmental Assessment: The Initial Study and Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) was published on July 24, 2015 for a 45 day public comment period that ended on September 8, 2015.
