2. Bicycle Boulevard Program UpdateStaff will provide an update on the various bicycle boulevard program projects around town and include a presentation on measures being considered as part of the program. The report will also include an update on bicycle-safety measures being used around town including green bicycle lanes treatments. 3. RPP Recommendation to Council: The Commission will be asked to recommend that the City Council adopt a City-Wide Residential Preferential Parking (RPP) Ordinance establishing a framework for implementation of area specific Residential Parking. 4. Downtown RPP Resolution Recommendation to CouncilThe Commission will be asked to recommend that the City Council adopt a Resolution implementing the downtown district RPP. In order to expedite the implementation of a RPP in the downtown area, the area currently most impacted by non-residential parking demand, the City has proceeded with these two initiatives on a parallel course. Items 3 and 4 are related. The items have been agendized separately to permit conflicted Commissioners to recuse themselves from area specific discussions in accordance with State Conflict of Interest law.
