Concert performances by the African American Composer Initiative (AACI) will air May 6 to 14 at 3:00 pm and repeat at 10:00 pm on channel 30. Catch a different concert each day! The cycle will repeat May 15 to 23. AACI’s annual concerts are held at and benefit the Performing Arts Center at Eastside College Preparatory School in East Palo Alto. The concerts feature the music of African American composers from the twentieth century to today. Music genres include jazz, spirituals, and freedom songs.
