The Annual Report is here!

2020 was a year like no other, and we can sum up our organization’s experience into one word: resilience. We navigated a pandemic. Our community separated and sheltered in place. We witnessed political turmoil and joined the call for accountability and an end to violence. All the while, we did everything in our power to keep up with the needs of our community and offer ways to stay connected, informed, and empowered. This is the story we tell in our 2020 Annual Report — and we invite you now to check it out.

This report will bring you through the year with a series of stories focused on our community of Media Makers hard at work both in the studio and at home. We recount some of our favorite events and most exciting programs, including our Racial and Social Injustice in America public roundtables, the 2020 local election coverage we produced in collaboration with the League of Women Voters, and our first-ever virtual volunteer holiday party. We also focus on our organization’s dedication to civic engagement, gratitude for our donors, programs to maintain connection within our community throughout the pandemic, and our efforts to achieve equity and justice within our community.

If looking back on 2020 feels like a disorienting blur, we encourage you to flip through this short publication and explore the story of how our organization continued to serve our community throughout the pandemic-related uncertainty. From movie nights to online classes to interviews hosted on Zoom, the moments we shared throughout 2020 are exemplary of our organization’s ability to adapt, evolve, and prove ourselves resilient in the face of adversity.
