Over the past few weeks, Midpen Media staff continues to support our educational, government, and producer communities from our living rooms, kitchens, and decks! Although we miss seeing each other in person, we’re fortunate to be able to continue to work together during the COVID-19 crisis.
Shortly after the shelter in place order went into effect, Midpen Media’s IT Director, Chris Pearce, helped the East Palo Alto City Council live stream their Zoom meeting to cable channel 29. He has assisted multiple other local governments broadcast their video conference meetings as well. Midpen Media’s City Hall Video Operators are still operating onsite video booths for essential meetings in Palo Alto and for the Palo Alto Unified School District.
Special Programming Blocks
We’re scanning the archives and pulling programs designed to inspire and motivate you. In March, we started off airing exceptional Midpen Media produced shows from 2019 that either won or were nominated for Western Access Video Excellence (WAVE) Awards. This month we’re airing shows produced by youth in our summer camps and internship program, and we’re featuring fitness and cooking shows to help you stay active and well-nourished!
Our professional services team was able to edit together a multi-presenter selfie video campaign for a client who had to cancel their planned fundraising event. Other video production and broadcast services currently available include:
- Virtual meeting consulting for Zoom and other online conferencing platforms.
- Streaming video conferencing to Midpen Media channels and simulcast on our website.
- Post-production work including video editing and online uploads.
If your business needs a creative way to stay in touch with customers or needs help with online video presentations, contact Louise Pencavel (louise[at]midpenmedia[dot]org) at ProServices.
