“Talking with Henrietta” Wins Prestigious Journalism Award

The San Francisco Peninsula Press Club has named the TV program “Talking with Henrietta” as recipient of one of this year’s prestigious Greater Bay Area Journalism Awards. Produced in Midpen’s studios by Henrietta Burroughs, this program finds itself among venerated honorees of such stature as KQED 9 and The Oakland Tribune, in addition to local news outlets, such as the Palo Alto Weekly and the Daily Post.

Henrietta Burroughs is the editor of EPA Today, an online and print news service covering East Palo Alto. Produced bimonthly, “Talking with Henrietta” zeroes in on tough hyper-local issues, bringing together thought leaders and experts to discuss important community topics that may get only a nod from larger news agencies. The awards ceremony will be held this Saturday, October 1, at 11:30 am in Foster City. The awards luncheon is open to the public. The Press Club’s announcement of the winners can be viewed here.
