This class is taught in TWO sessions: the first on May 21 from 6-9 PM and the second on May 28 from 6-9 PM.
Join us at Midpen Media Center for an interactive workshop where you’ll learn all about basic techniques for studio still photography. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer looking to brush up on your skills, this event is perfect for anyone interested in improving their shots. First, our instructor, a professional photographer himself, will cover the fundamentals of DSLR operation in order to take creative control of your photos. Then, he will delve into lighting setups, framing and composition, equipment, and how to approach different subjects to get the most out of your shots. Finally, students will learn the basics of using the industry standard program Adobe Lightroom to process their images. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to take your photography to the next level!
Our studio has Sony A7iii DSLRs for class use, but we encourage you to bring your own digital camera to learn on so that you will be able to take the skills you learn in our class and use them with your own camera! Also, please bring a USB drive to both sessions so you can take photos home with you and bring them back to the next class!
